In the long history of the island, were Hugo and Ben #1 and #2 in direct line with "The Prisoner" mythology? Seems that each #1 gets to make decisions. Jacob let no one leave. Hugo will help people go home (Desmond). Perhaps another #1 sublet the island to The Village. Just thinking. Now that we have seen the finale . . .
